On April 26, 2014, approximately one year after we lost Clancy, Dr. Karen Fling,
owner of Eastlake Animal Hospital and Eastlake Pet Orphanage, brought us a skinny,
scared little white dog that had to be shaved because she was so filthy dirty!
She had been found in the middle of the street near Love Field.
After Karen saw her, talked to the person who had found her and fostered her for a few days,
she knew that this little poodle mix was the perfect replacement for Clancy!
One thing we did know-she was super sweet. We didn't know, until 10 days later,
that she was also pregnant, and on May 20, three and a half weeks later,
at 1:00 a.m., she delivered three little brown lumps-two girls and a boy in Bob's bedroom!
Suzie was an awesome mother-and has turned into a beautiful little white
9-1/2 pound fluff-very intelligent and friendly-and has quickly won the
hearts of our estate sale regulars, to say nothing of Bob, Jeff and the rest of the staff.
So come meet Suzie at one of our estate sales-she loves her role as much as Clancy did!
